Eagles Triumph Over Griffins 21-16

A JV boys basketball match today between the SCCLC Eagles and the International Griffins ended with a win for the Eagles. The game began with a flurry of poor shots from both teams that lasted for about five minutes. Then the Griffins finally put a shot in the hoop, starting an avalanche of scoring that resulted in six points for each team in less than three minutes. The Eagles continued their scoring streak in the second quarter, racking up ten points to the Griffin 's zero.
The second half began with the score 16 – 6 for the Eagles, before the Griffins turned the tables and kept the SCCLC boys scoreless in the third quarter. Early in the final quarter, the Griffins came within one point of challenging the Eagle's lead. But the Eagles slammed the door with two baskets in the dying seconds which sealed the game in their favor.
Jaguars Trump Knights 38-18
A strong third quarter performance the Cooperative Jaguars to victory over the Cambridge Knights in a JV boys basketball game played on Tuesday. The Jaguars had built up an 18-10 lead by the end of the first half, but a 16 point 3rd quarter explosion led ensured the victory for them. After an average fourth quarter, the final score stood at 38-18 with the Jaguars on top.
