Jaguars Overpower Eagles 31-11
Story by Jesse Mann, SCCLC

A fast paced match between the SCCLC JV Eagles and the SCCS Jaguars resulted in a solid Jaguar victory on Tuesday. The Jaguars opened the game up by rapidly scoring four baskets, after which they switched their lineup  significantly. This resulted in a slower pace in the second quarter, with the Eagles managing to score some hard fought points. The score at halftime was 12 – 5 in favor of the Jaguars, reflecting a fairly unbalanced match.

The second half, however, was dominated completely by the Jaguars. The Jaguars made nine baskets and one free throw to increase their score to thirty-one, whereas the Eagles only managed a free throw and two baskets to up their score by six. The final score demonstrated a Jaguar blowout, with the Jaguars leading 31 – 11. Overall, the Eagles' failure to get rebounds gave the Jaguars a large quantity of points from directly beneath the net.
