The Christian Learning and Cooperative junior varsity girls soccer teams fought their way to a 1-1 tie in a game played on the Jaguars field Tuesday afternoon.
The Jaguars prevailed 2-1 in the post game penalty shoot out to determine which teams gets an extra point in the standing. The two teams were tied at 1-1 after five players had gone, with each team's goalie blocking four shots. The matter was decided when Cooperative's sixth shooter scored after Christian Learning's sixth shot was also blocked.
Eva Brown scored the Christian Learning goal during the game itself, giving the little Eagles the lead for most of the game. Michelle Lederman tied the game for the Jaguars with her second half goal.

Griffin JV scores 3-0 victory
The International girls junior varsity soccer team defeated Cambridge 3-0 in a game played on their home field Tuesday afternoon.
The Griffins went ahead on two first half goals by Vitoria Dos Santos. Antonia Maggi added the third score in the second half.
