JV Girls Volleyball

Griffin JV outlasts Cambridge, 2-1

The International junior varsity girls volleyball team traded same-score victories with Cambridge in the opening two sets, then took the match by dominating the third set.
The Little Griffins took the first set, 25-22, in the match played Thursday in their gym. The girl Knights then took the second set 25-22. International took the deciding set 15-4.
International benefited from the swift, sure play of little fifth grader Pamela Suarez.


Jaguar JV beats Eagles in three-setter

The Cooperative junior varsity girls volleyball team won a tough victory against a resilient Christian Learning team, two sets to one, in a match played Thursday in the Jaguar gym
The Junior Jaguars breezed to an easy win in in the opening set, 25-10, but then saw the Eaglettes storm back to take the second set 25-16. Cooperative had substituted freely at the sart of the second set, but the reinsertion f the starters did not stop the Eagle momentum.
The Jaguars were able to get the tide ging their way in the third set, which they won 15-4.
