Cambridge JV tops Christian Learning, 4-2
The Cambridge junior varsity boys soccer team scored a 4-2 victory over Christian Learning Thursday on the International field.
The Little Knights took a 3-2 lead at the half on goals by Kevin Mendez, Jose Luis Rivera, and Mauricio Soto. Richard Enns scored for the Junior Eagles.
Each team added a single tally in the second half. Rivera scored for Cambridge and Gaston Waldman for Christian Learning.

Cooperative JV defeats International, 3-2
The Cooperative junior varsity boys soccer team won 3-2 over International in a spirited clash on the Cooperative field Thursday.
Each team had a chance to lead. International was ahead 2-1 at the half on two goals by Sergio Rosado. The first came on a free kick, and the second when Rosado kicked home a corner kick.

Jorge Zankis scored for the Jaguars when the International goalie came out too early to challenge him, enabling him to pop the ball over the goalie's head into the net.
Jaguar Josue Abuawad ignored the (for Santa Cruz) frigid temperature after he tied the score with a goal early in the second half. His score climaxed a nifty set of passes.
Zankis struck again a short while later to give the Little Jaguars their victory margin.
