More postponements -- on to
playoffs?
The full slate of SCISL soccer and volleyball contests scheduled for today, Thursday, October 14, has been called off because of the high levels of smog in the air. The League's ruling body is scheduled to meet this afternoon to discuss ways to amend the schedule. One possibility would be to cancel this week's games, which would have concluded the regular season, and go on to the playoffs next week in accordance with the original schedule, with seeding figured on the basis of the games played to date.
