Varsity Girls Volleyball

Jaguar girls win comfortably

The Cooperative girls varsity volleyball team stretched its record to 3-0 with a straight sets victory over Christian Learning in their home gym Thursday.
The Jaguars won the first set 25-19 and the second 25-16.
The Jaguars are in first  place  at the end of the first half of the season, a game behind International.  The teams will resume play after the Santa Cruz Day break.

Griffins triumph over Knights

The International girls varsity volleyball team defeated Cambridge by decisive margins in a game played at the International gym Thursday.
The Griffins took the first set 25-12, and the second 25-15. Most of the points were decided only after long, often high-velocity rallies in which both teams played well. However, the Griffins seemed capable of returning any ball the Cambridge girls sent their way.
The Griffins are in second place at the halfway mark of the regular season with a 2-1 record.
