Jaguars defeat Griffins in straight sets

The Cooperative boys varsity volleyball team engineered an impressive win over International in their home gym Tuesday, setting up a showdown next week when Cooperative and Christian Learning will clash in a battle of unbeaten teams.

Cooperative, which had defeated International only once in the past two years, dominated the Griffins right from the start, taking the first set 25-17, and then running away with the second by a count of 25-9.

Eagles score 2-0 win against Knights

The Christian Learning varsity boys volleyball team easily defeated Cambridge inj straight sets Tuesday in a game played in the International gym.
The Eagles won the first game 25-10 as they methodically scored two points for each point the Knights scored. Christian Learning enjoyed leads of 8-3, 14-7, and 20-8 en route to a 25-10 win.
The second game, in which Cambridge was basically playing against the Eagles sercond string, was much closer. The Eagles prevailed 25-21, and led by only one point at 20-21 before surging at the close.
