JV Griffins Outrun Eagles 7-0

            The SCCLC JV boys soccer team was victim of an aggressive Griffin onslaught that deposited the soccer ball into the Eagle's net seven times. The International players made the most of their superior size and speed, managing easily to stop any Eagle offensive efforts. By the end of the first half the Griffins led 4-0, although the Eagles nearly scored on a shot that barely glanced off the Griffin's crossbar. The second half saw three more goals by the Griffins, with only a couple shots on goal by the Eagles. Ultimately the Eagles were simply outrun by the Griffins, though it deserves notice that the Eagle's defense has improved significantly since the beginning of the season and managed to stop many a Griffin goal attempt.
